Mapping Applications

Barrow County offers several mapping applications for services utilizing Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

This service, hosted by qPublic and maintained by the Tax Assessors, provides access to parcel and property assessment information and sales. Map layers include parcels, subdivisions, aerial photography, and zoning contours.

The Barrow County GIS Viewer contains a comprehensive GIS layer resource. Click the Layer List button on the upper right-hand side to view additional GIS data related to Elections, Zoning, Utilities, Public Works, and Base Layers. Use the interactive help tutorial with gifs and screenshots available in the help button to walk you through.

This interactive map displays Barrow’s six County Commission Districts. Searching for your address, you can click within the Commission District to view information about your District including how to contact the County Chairman and toggling through the arrows to view the respective District Commissioner.

This Election District Lookup App presents the County election precincts and voting locations. Search by your address to find the districts, precincts, wards, and voting locations for your property. The layers behind the lookup app are available in the layers button . Clicking on a district or voting site opens a window with additional information. Contact the Barrow County Elections office for questions regarding your precinct and voting location.

This dashboard shows the transportation projects that are planned, completed, and under way in Barrow County. Interactively clicking within any of the tables – fiscal year, status or project itself - will zoom and flash to the area of interest on the map, paring down the projects listing, and updating the project indicator counts in the lower left. Please note fiscal years span from July 1 – June 30; i.e. FY2025 projects were budgeted in between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. Please note that other roads may be worked on by other jurisdictions, such as GDOT and the municipalities of Barrow County. This dashboard is updated on a bi-monthly basis as updates are received from the Transportation division.

Barrow County's Planning - GIS team provides the addressing for all municipalities that fall within Barrow County's boundaries. To request address(es) please apply via this form here, wherein you can provide your plat or site plan.
