Qualifications of Members: all members must be residents of Barrow County for the duration of their term, no member shall have held political office or have been a salaried employee of the county during the three months immediately preceding their appointment, or be a spouse, parent, child, or sibling of a member of the county's civil service system, or be employed or a member of any county authority or board.
