Qualification of Members: resident and elector of the county and not an elected public office holder. Members receive $65 per meeting, Chairman receives $75 per meeting.

Overview
Board Profile: The Board of Elections and Registration is responsible for registering citizens to vote, maintaining voter registration records, conducting all county elections, mailing out absentee ballots, training poll workers, and keeping abreast of all state laws pertaining to elections and voter registrations. In addition, this Board also conducts city elections for Winder, Auburn, Bethlehem, Carl, and Statham on a contractual basis whereby each city pays for the cost of their city elections.
