Barrow County’s administrative offices, courts, senior center and animal shelter will be closed Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.
Buildings and athletic fields will be closed at Victor Lord Park, though the park itself will remain open. As a reminder, outdoor pickleball courts are unavailable due to ongoing renovations.
The Barrow County Water office will be closed, but essential staff will remain on duty. Citizens reporting a residential water emergency may do so by calling (770) 307-6610 to be connected with appropriate on-call staff. A wastewater emergency may be reported to (770) 298-9527. All other calls may go to the office line at (770) 307-3014.
Essential public safety personnel will also remain on duty during the holiday.
