The Barrow County Board of Commissioners offers its congratulations to Sarah Griffie, who was recently appointed to a superior court judgeship by Gov. Brian Kemp.
Griffie, who currently serves as Chief Assistant District Attorney, takes over a position on the Piedmont Judicial Circuit vacated by former judge Wayne McLocklin, who retired this summer.
“We as a commission would like to offer our congratulations to Judge Griffie, who underwent a rigorous application process. We are confident she will work tirelessly for the citizens of Barrow County in her new role,” said Pat Graham, Barrow County Commission Chairman.
Griffie has worked for Barrow County since August 2007.
