The Barrow County Utilities Department will move to a new location at 59 Lee Street in Winder beginning Monday, May 12.
The current offices, located at 625 Hwy 211 NE, will be closed at the end of the business day Thursday, May 8. Offices will be closed to the public Friday, May 9 as staff moves to the new location.
“For citizens who prefer to pay their utility bill in person, a temporary drop box will be available at the old offices. However, customer service representatives will only be available at the new location,” said Chris Yancey, Barrow County Public Works Director.
Citizens may also pay their utility bills online, via automated bank draft or by calling (770) 307-3014. The Barrow County Utilities Department is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
