Barrow County’s administrative offices, courts, senior center and animal shelter will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
Buildings and athletic fields will be closed at Victor Lord Park, though the park itself will remain open during the holiday.
Barrow County Water offices will be closed on June 19, but essential staff will remain on duty. Citizens reporting a water emergency may do so by calling (770) 307-3014 to be connected with appropriate on-call staff.
Essential public safety personnel will also remain on duty during the holiday.
