With renovations complete, the outdoor pickleball courts at Victor Lord Park are set to reopen Monday, June 9.
This project, which doubles the capacity of the pickleball courts from six to 12, began in April and was completed under budget and ahead of schedule. The pickleball courts received updated signage, new fencing, another entrance gate and resurfacing.
“Pickleball continues to be a popular offering for visitors at Victor Lord Park, and we could not be more excited to unveil the remodeled courts for our players,” said Zach Churchill, Barrow County Parks and Recreation Director.
Victor Lord Park is located on 2nd Street in Winder.
