Barrow County’s administrative offices, courts, senior center and animal shelter will be closed Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day holiday.
Buildings and athletic fields will be closed at Victor Lord Park on Sept. 2, though the park itself will remain open during the holiday. Batting cages, tennis and pickleball courts will be available.
Barrow County Water offices will be closed on Labor Day, but essential staff will remain on duty. Citizens reporting a water emergency may do so by calling (770) 307-3014 to be connected with appropriate on-call staff.
Essential public safety personnel will also remain on duty during the holiday.
