Barrow County’s administrative offices, courts, senior center, and animal shelter will be closed Friday, April 18 in observance of Good Friday.
Buildings and athletic fields will be closed at Victor Lord Park, though the park itself will remain open.
The Barrow County Water office will be closed, but essential staff will remain on duty. Citizens reporting a residential water emergency may do so by calling (770) 307-6610 to be connected with appropriate on-call staff. A wastewater emergency may be reported to (770) 298-9527. All other calls may go to the office line at (770) 307-3014.
Essential public safety personnel will also remain on duty during the holiday.
