Mission Statement
The Purchasing Department’s role is to facilitate the procurement of quality goods and services for Barrow County at competitive pricing; to promote the use of effective and innovative methods in procuring goods and services; to actively participate in supporting the needs of a growing County government; and to conduct all activities with the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
Information:
The department has two full time employees; one Director and one Purchasing Agent provide services from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. five days per week. Offices are located on the second floor of the Barrow County Administration Annex at 233 East Broad Street, Winder, GA 30680.
