Departmental Operation
Barrow County Buildings and Grounds Department’s main focus is to provide a safe and pleasant environment in all county owned buildings.
Buildings and Grounds is responsible for the planning, coordination, renovation and maintenance for all buildings owned by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners.
Buildings and Grounds personnel specializes in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning, ground keeping and custodial services. They also perform minor and major repairs, renovations on county facilities and provide supervision on county contractor repairs, renovation projects and new construction projects.
